The sewing studio will be located on the second floor just above the entrance of the convention center. This can be reached by stairs or elevator. There will be a seating area down the hall for spouses who want to rest or they can go to the roof deck patio for a view of the park.
Displays - Come and see the new ideas and projects. The items that are pictured in the sewing book will be available for inspection in the studio.
Make & Take Area - All of these projects will be located in the studio. The supplies will be provided for each of the projects and there will be plenty of tables and chairs.
Repair Area - If there is a wardrobe malfunction come to the studio. A sewing machine and supplies will be at hand and one of the volunteers will assist as needed with repairs.
Tracing Tables & Stands - Many new patterns will be available as well as the old standbys for you to trace. Several styles of spiral and ripple asymmetric skirt panels will be featured.
Ruffler Demonstration - A ruffler will be set up on a sewing machine for you to give it a try and see how easy it is to use this gizmo to make perfectly even ruffles. One of the volunteers will help you get started.
